In the spirit of Miles Davis, this program of music from the 1950's to current releases offers jazz both traditional and adventurous, from artists both established and lesser known.

Host Rob Stevens interviewed jazz pianist Fred Hersch, who will bring his trio to Lafayette College's Williams Center on April 18.

The broadcast also featured selections from saxophonist Dave Liebman and pianist Bobby Avey, who will perform as a duo at Miller Symphony Hall's "Jazz Upstairs" on April 20. Plus, South African legend, pianist Abdullah Ibrahim, who will play with his group Ekaya and guest trumpeter Freddie Hendrix at Lehigh University's Zoellner Arts Center on April 24.
