WDIY's Community Calendar provides free online listings to events that serve the community. All submissions will be reviewed and approved by an editor at WDIY before appearing on the site. The station reserves the right to edit any submissions. WDIY does not check the details of the event and does not take responsibility for inaccurate information. If you notice inaccurate information in event listings, please contact Alison DelRe at alison@wdiy.org. If you receive an error message when submitting your event, please try re-submitting without uploading an image.When submitting events: • Select the proper category for the event. • Enter the event at least 2 weeks prior to event date. • Include your contact information. • Fill out all information required as completely as possible. Listings with incomplete information are less likely to be posted. WDIY will NOT publish listings for the following: • Events that have a narrow appeal to a small or specialized constituency (for example: high school reunions, meetings of astrophysicists). • Political or advocacy events that have to do with a political party, advocacy group, candidacy, or issue. An exception may be made for a forum or debate at which all major candidates or all sides of an issue are represented. • Religious events, excluding concerts and other non-religious events at churches or other venues.WDIY is using this system to compile our on-air calendars.
