The Blend

An important coronavirus update: Some of our community hosts have returned to hosting their regularly scheduled programs, while others are continuing to stay home and practice social distancing. Listen on-air and look for online updates about which Blend hosts have returned to the mic. Rest assured, if your favorite Blend host has not returned yet, you will still hear great music from WDIY's massive music library during the same regularly scheduled times.

New West Records

Steve Earle has always been a voice for change, the working man, for freedom in the face of all that is unjust and corrupt in this wrong-ended world. Coming out with one of the strongest and cohesive albums in quite some time, he releases Ghosts of West Virginia.

Chrysalis / Partisan Records

Coming during a time in history when we need some vital words of comfort and encouragement more than ever, Laura Marling has seen fit to release her latest album, entitled Song for Our Daughter.

Yep Roc Records

Chuck Prophet, the San Francisco-based psychedelic roots rocker is back with a new album entitled The Land That Time Forgot (2020-Yep Roc Records).

Highway 20 Records

Lucinda Williams comes back with a vengeance on her latest album, Good Souls Better Angels. She ties her latest outing to her feelings which are angry and raw at current events and news of our world falling apart.

Columbia Records

Bob Dylan is at the point in his career where he does just about what he wants... and since he hasn't put out any new material in about 8 years the masses will soak up any and all that the master has to release.

ANTI- Records

M. Ward returns with a new release entitled 'Migration Stories'- a triptych and conceptual collection of songs about human migration and the feelings around it. Ballads and some pop gems amid the cool, pleasant production that touches on sounds of the western experience amid some sci-fi leaning undercurrents.

ATO Records

Margaret Glaspy returns with a new disc since her 2016's 'Emotions and Math' which was an intimate stab at 70's singer-songwriter era rock with a nervy, edgy, modern delivery.  2020's 'Devotion' is a change in her MO with a lush and diverse approach that includes stabs at experimental atmospherics.
