Easton Municipal Band – Season Opening Concert

The Easton Municipal Band opens its 2026 season with a special joint performance alongside the Bethlehem Area School District Alumni Band. This exciting afternoon concert will take place at the Hanover Township Community Center on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 3:00 PM.

The program will feature a wide-ranging selection of music including classic marches, selections from stage and screen, jazz favorites, and contemporary band works. Bringing together musicians from across the Lehigh Valley, this collaborative concert celebrates community band traditions and the shared musical heritage of Easton and Bethlehem.
An intermission will be included during the program. Admission is free and open to the public.

King Kung Band is coming to the Sherman Showcase with special guests My Last Wish, Witness Marker, The Squanches, and Stylish Nihilists!

Ozzi’s Angels Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and advocating for cats and kittens in need. They provide lifesaving medical care, a safe and compassionate environment, and responsible placement, while working with the community to promote humane treatment and second chances for every life. Join us for an evening of music and fundraising to support Ozzi’s Angels.

Box of Rain is the classic six piece that pays tribute to the finest and most prolific period of the Grateful Dead, 1968-’74.

Contra Dancing is American Folk Dance to live music and caller. No partner required-everyone switches partners and dances with everyone. Bring soft soled shoes (no high heels) for dancing, a water bottle and a snack to share. Come and have fun.  Children are welcome to come dance but must be supervised by and adult. Dances held 2nd and 4th Saturdays. Check website for additional information. NOTE April 11 will be a special event.

Come at 7 PM for beginner lesson-dancing from 7:30-10-30 PM with a break for snacks around 9 PM

$10 (student), $15 (friend of VCDS), $20+ (supporter)
children 12 and under accompanied by a paying adult FREE
