Dave’s Night Out returns with a special Archivists Edition featuring the librarians from the Archives and Special Collections at Lehigh University’s Linderman Library. As part of the Godfrey Daniels 50th Anniversary Season, the evening explores the ongoing work to preserve and digitize the venue’s history — including decades of concert recordings, posters, and memorabilia that capture the story of one of the region’s most influential folk music spaces.

Through conversation, show-and-tell moments from the archives, and a few songs and stories from Dave Fry, the night offers a rare look behind the scenes of how Godfrey Daniels’ legacy is being documented and shared. In the venue’s signature Live Music Listening Room setting, it’s an opportunity to connect the music, memories, and community that have shaped South Bethlehem for the past 50 years.

The annual What’s So Cool About Manufacturing video contests excite students to explore cool manufacturing careers and produce profiles of companies in their communities. Judges in each regional contest bestow awards and each contest features an online vote for its Viewers Choice Award. The flagship What’s So Cool About Manufacturing contest is held annually in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley area, where the first contest took place in 2014. The Lehigh Valley contest features teams from Pennsylvania’s Lehigh, Northampton, and Carbon counties.

The ceremony will be aired live on WFMZ Channel 69.

Mosaic Youth Chorus (MYC) announces the launch of Troubadours, a new non-auditioned 12 week program serving children in grades 4, 5, and 6. Troubadours will provide instruction in vocal technique, musicianship, ensemble skills, and leadership. MYC provides a nurturing environment where every young person can thrive and express their authentic artistic selves. We focus on giving youth voice and addressing topics of importance to young people. Troubadours provides foundational instruction to start young singers on this journey.

Spring Equinox Forest Bathing for Wellness and Recovery
In collaboration with Stacey Vinci, LMFT

Step into the healing energy of the spring with Spring Equinox Forest Bathing for Wellness and Recovery. This guided program is part of a seasonal series designed to support healing, mindfulness, and personal growth by aligning with nature’s transitions throughout the year.

Led by Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Stacey Vinci, you’ll slow down, quiet the mind, and engage your senses through gentle, intentional activities inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku (“forest bathing”). As the forest awakens into spring, the sights, sounds, and scents of new growth provide an opportunity to reconnect with yourself and the natural world.

The program includes:
- A meet and greet with one of our resident wildlife ambassadors before entering the forest
- Sensory-based forest immersion activities
- A light snack to enjoy in community

This program is open to individuals from all walks of recovery; whether from substance use, trauma, grief, mental health challenges, or life transitions. No prior experience is needed, just an open heart and a willingness to be present. Best for Adults.

As part of the Rise Above Opioids initiative, Lehigh County Drug and Alcohol will host
“Voices of Recovery: Stories of Strength,” a community event featuring video testimonials from individuals who have experienced varied spectrums of addiction and found a path to recovery. The program will include the premiere screening of Rise Above Opioids recovery story videos, recognition of the individuals featured, brief personal remarks from select participants and a celebration of the newly renovated lower level of Change on Hamilton. The event will also highlight Journeys and Child Watch programs, which allows parents in recovery to attend meetings and services while their children receive short term onsite care.

St. Mary's Church is holding their Annual Basket Social/Tricky Tray on Friday, March 27, Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29. We have over 230 baskets on the raffle with an addition 50 gift cards and special raffle items. Raffle tickets cost $5.00/sheet. Each sheet offers 26 chances per sheet. Special Raffle Items tickets sold seperately. The kitchen will be open all three days. Winning baskets may be picked up on Monday, March 30 from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Winners will be notified Sunday, March 29 in the afternoon/evening.

A nationally touring artist and festival favorite, his songs reflect firsthand experiences gathered from thousands of miles of travel and life lived in motion. In the intimate setting of Godfrey Daniels’ Live Music Listening Room, Robbins’ direct songwriting and nuanced acoustic performances invite listeners into the stories behind the songs—up close and fully present.

Lehigh Choral Arts explores uncharted territories with a concert featuring the University Choir, Dolce, and Glee Club. Spanning centuries and musical styles, the program includes works by composers like Caroline Shaw, Sarah Quartel, and Claudio Monteverdi, in a program celebrating human curiosity and discovery.
