Join Champion Scottish fiddler Seán Heely and a cast of nationally acclaimed Celtic performers on a magical journey through Scotland and Ireland during the holidays. The fiddle and bagpipes will sweep you away to Christmastime and Winter Solstice celebrations, along with featured dancers from Scottish and Irish traditions that are sure to lift your holiday spirits and warm your heart. Kilts and tartan abound as the show travels through ancient Gaelic carols and songs, tucked in perfectly with lively Irish tunes and familiar Christmas and seasonal melodies with a Celtic twist. Heely is a DC-based US National Scottish Fiddle Champion, award-winning Irish fiddler, Scots Gaelic singer, and harpist.

Join us at Payrow Plaza on Friday, November 28th from 4:30-6:30pm, as they light the Northside Christmas Tree. Featuring the friendly faces of some of your Touchstone Theatre favorites!

December 1st through 23rd – Live Advent Calendar – FREE!

Additionally, beginning on December 1st at 5:30pm, and continuing every evening through the 23rd, join us at the Sun Inn Courtyard for The Live Advent Calendar! The Downtown Bethlehem Association (DBA), an entity of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites and Touchstone Theatre host this special tradition on Main Street each December. Every evening some of your favorite Touchstone actors will be selecting a member of the audience to come and open the door and see what sort of surprises await inside. Join us for Brightest & Best Christmas with The Druckenmillers & Norm Williams, a warm and joyful afternoon of acoustic holiday music. Tom and Betty Druckenmiller bring their love for old-time fiddle tunes, dance melodies, and parlor songs to the stage, joined by multi-instrumentalist Norm Williams on mountain dulcimer, guitar, and vocals. Together, they share stories, harmonies, and timeless Appalachian traditions that capture the true spirit of the season. Experience the beauty of live folk music in our intimate listening room—your backstage pass to a heartfelt Christmas celebration.

Contra Dancing is American Folk Dance to live music and caller. No partner required-everyone switches partners and dances with everyone. Bring soft soled shoes (no high heels) for dancing, a water bottle and a snack to share. Come and have fun.
