The Lehigh Valley Mental Health Awareness Walk and Resource Expo is a FREE annual community event held each May to promote Mental Health Awareness Month. The goal of this event is to raise awareness , provide access to resources and work toward reducing and eliminating the stigma surrounding mental illness.The day will include a optional 1.2 awareness walk, resource expo hosting 60+ local agencies and businesses, family activities (Photobooth, live music, henna artists and more)
This is a free community event.

Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center, in partnership with the Authority of Cumberland County, presents the 19th annual ECO Fair: Artful Living, Handmade & Homegrown on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine. ECO Fair is a free event inspired by natural and artful living, featuring local gardening clubs, including Rutgers Master Gardeners with various native and wildlife-friendly plants, locally grown herbs and vegetables for sale, handmade works of New Jersey artists, environmental organizations, Nature Trail tours, eco-friendly activities for families, live music, and more.
This year, CU Maurice River’s Keynote Speaker, Jennifer Brown, Collection Manager for the Glass Flowers at Harvard University, will be presenting “The Glass Flowers at Harvard University: Marvels of Art and Science.” Join us in the Event Center at 1 p.m. as Jennifer discusses one of Harvard University’s most famous treasures, the internationally acclaimed Ware Collection of Blaschka Glass Models of Plants, better known as the Glass Flowers.
Admission to all WheatonArts exhibits and Artist Studio demonstrations is free and open to the public for the day, part of WheatonArts Family Days, presented by PNC Arts Alive. Supply your zip code at the Gate and receive a FREE Eco-shopping bag, courtesy of the Authority of Cumberland County. One per adult, while supplies last. Children have an opportunity to design their own bag at the Authority booth while supplies last.

The 8th Annual Northampton County Festival is free admission and free parking. Beyond parking at Louise Moore Park, LANTA Bus is providing a free shuttle from the William Penn Park & Ride - Route 33. The festival is a family fun event with food trucks, kid activities, crafters, vendors, non-profits, and live entertainment.

FREE COMMUNITY EVENT – Join us for the annual Labor Day Festival hosted by the Sherman Theater on Saturday, September 5th from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM!
Craft, retail, food and beverage vendors will line Main Street, complementing dozens of shops and restaurants in downtown Stroudsburg, PA. There will be live music at multiple stages throughout the day, and lots of activities for the whole family to enjoy!

The 26th annual Peace Fair at Buckingham Friends Meetinghouse features over 80 tables of local crafts, artwork, traditional and vegetarian food, kids games, and Bucks area non-profits whose focus is peace, community service, healthy living and the environment. Browse the gently-used book sale and listen to bluegrass band Tookany Creek, Mindy Murray and Kevin McCloskey from River Drivers, singer/songwriters Jonathan Sprout and Paige Melton, and kids’ songster EcoMan. Hear Bucks area poets at the Poetry Reading (open mike at the end), and tour the recently restored Buckingham Quaker Meetinghouse, a National Landmark. The fair runs from 10:30am until 4:00pm and is handicap accessible. Admission and parking are free to the public (donations gratefully accepted). Bucks area residents from toddlers to seniors will enjoy a delightful, engaging and uplifting day at the Peace Fair.
