Maddie Yang
Program Host - Youth MediaMaddie Yang is a student in WDIY's Youth Media Program. She is the host of Environmental Minute, providing listeners a glimpse into the world of environmental sustainability. She also is a roating host of the limited series for April 2025, Roots and Resilience. Maddie is a student at Moravian Academy in Bethlehem ('27).
Maddie says she is passionate about the correlation between sustainability and anthropology. At school, she is a leader of the Garden Club and Green Team, and is a member of her school's dance team. She also is the co-founder of a youth-led nonprofit called Food to Flourish that is dedicated to increasing food and nutrition access for her community through a sustainable lens. In her free time, she loves writing, reading, and baking! She is super excited to be a part of the WDIY team and is looking forward to creating more media for the program.
