On December 4, 1956, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins descend on Sun Studio in Memphis. What follows is one of the greatest impromptu jam sessions in music history. Guided by visionary producer Sam Phillips—the “Father of Rock ‘n’ Roll”—the night crackles with soaring music while careers hang in the balance. Featuring over 20 chart-topping hits including “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Great Balls of Fire,” and “I Walk the Line,” this is a toe-tapping celebration of friendship, rivalry, and a night that ignites a revolution. August Wilson’s Pulitzer and Tony-winning masterwork unfolds in 1936 Pittsburgh, where the Charles family struggles over an heirloom piano carved with the faces of their enslaved ancestors. Boy Willie arrives from Mississippi, determined to sell it to claim his future, while his sister Berniece guards the instrument as a sacred altar to their history. As their clash intensifies, the ghosts of the past begin to stir, forcing a reckoning with a legacy they can neither sell nor escape. PSF is proud to present this production directed by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright James Ijames (Fat Ham).

Vincen García is a Spanish bassist from Valencia, acclaimed as one of the most prestigious figures in the modern jazz and funk scene worldwide. He has over 14 years of professional experience, having developed a distinctive, modern sound marked by energetic and gritty execution.

Born into a musical family—his mother a vocalist and his father a trumpeter—Vincen was introduced to performance and touring at an early age. He began playing bass in his high school band and developed his craft entirely as a self-taught musician.

Vincen is among the most listened-to bassists globally in terms of streaming, amassing hundreds of thousands of followers and millions of views and reactions. Additionally, he has been one of the most impactful artists in the genre, performing at festivals such as the Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), the North Sea Jazz Festival (Netherlands), and the Pori Jazz Festival (Finland). His first album, titled Ventura, has received an overwhelmingly positive reception around the world. Vincen García also collaborates on tours with international artists like Cory Wong and Jesús Molina. The artist will present his second album, Vivace, in 2026 with a world tour spanning every continent.

With all of this, he has become one of the most important and influential Spanish artists on an international level.
