Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival presents Shakespeare for Kids: Romeo and Juliet on the Main Stage. This high-energy, one-hour production is designed for children ages 4 to 10 and families of all ages to actively experience Shakespeare’s vibrant language and characters. Using songs, puppets, and scenes from William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare for Kids introduces young audiences to Shakespeare in a welcoming, super kid-friendly environment.

The Appalachian Fiddle & Bluegrass Association presents the 37th Annual AFBA Bluegrass Festival at Mountain View Park in Wind Gap. The four-day festival showcases bluegrass performances by artists including Henhouse Prowlers, The Grascals, Danny Paisley & The Southern Grass, and more. Festivalgoers can also enjoy workshops, jamming, kids crafts and activities, and free camping with an all-festival ticket.

Join the CMS House Band on Plaza Tropical at Musikfest!

After 5 short weeks of our House Band Summer Intensive, our talented musicians are ready for their big finale with original music and popular covers.

Come out and join us on August 6 at 1:30 PM to enjoy a great show and support our musicians!

Plaza Tropical is located on the northside “under the bridge” at Main and Spring Streets, and you can visit our main office and studios at 1544 Hamilton Street in Allentown.

FREE COMMUNITY EVENT – Join us for the annual Labor Day Festival hosted by the Sherman Theater on Saturday, September 5th from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM!

Craft, retail, food and beverage vendors will line Main Street, complementing dozens of shops and restaurants in downtown Stroudsburg, PA. There will be live music at multiple stages throughout the day, and lots of activities for the whole family to enjoy!

The 26th annual Peace Fair at Buckingham Friends Meetinghouse features over 80 tables of local crafts, artwork, traditional and vegetarian food, kids games, and Bucks area non-profits whose focus is peace, community service, healthy living and the environment. Browse the gently-used book sale and listen to bluegrass band Tookany Creek, Mindy Murray and Kevin McCloskey from River Drivers, singer/songwriters Jonathan Sprout and Paige Melton, and kids’ songster EcoMan. Hear Bucks area poets at the Poetry Reading (open mike at the end), and tour the recently restored Buckingham Quaker Meetinghouse, a National Landmark. The fair runs from 10:30am until 4:00pm and is handicap accessible. Admission and parking are free to the public (donations gratefully accepted). Bucks area residents from toddlers to seniors will enjoy a delightful, engaging and uplifting day at the Peace Fair.
