Under the direction of founder Peter Phillips, hear one of the most prolific and decorated choral groups of the last century. Through their excellence and scholarship, they have helped to establish Renaissance sacred music as a significant part of Western classical music today. The unified and pure sound that they weave from diverse voices is otherworldly. Their ability to capture both the deep emotion and consummate simplicity found in choral works of the Renaissance period has firmly established them as the leading performers of the genre worldwide.
On their fifth album, The Downstrokes push their sound into sharper, darker, and more adventurous territory. Fueled by hook‑driven riffs and a raw, high‑energy edge, the record captures the band at their most focused and ferocious, blending their 70s punk stylings with garage rock swagger. With The Furious Hours, The Downstrokes cement their place in the modern punk landscape while continuing to stretching the boundaries of what the genre can be.
$25 to $34.90 (fees included)

Bloom for Women is hosting a free community screening of The Right Track, a powerful documentary that amplifies the voices of survivors of sex trafficking, revealing their resilience, heartbreak, and courage as they fight for freedom, justice, and a future where exploited individuals are no longer criminalized but protected.
This crime is happening right here in the Lehigh Valley, and community awareness is a critical step in prevention and response. Bloom is committed to educating the community, supporting survivors on their path to healing, and advocating for systems that protect victims and hold traffickers accountable.
Following the screening, attendees are invited to stay for a panel discussion with local professionals and advocates who work directly with survivors. The conversation will explore how trafficking impacts our region, what resources exist, and how community members can help be part of the solution.
This free event is open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend.

Simple Gifts will be returning to the Allentown Public Library for another performance of traditional folk music. The concert will begin at 5:00pm and will be immediately followed by a workshop on ukulele basics at 6:00pm. No experience required for the ukulele workshop. Come to one or both events!
Combining tradition with innovation, Simple Gifts creates some of the finest arrangements in folk music today: swing fiddle creeps into a Romanian dance, spoons show up in an Irish reel, and a blues lick introduces a Klezmer melody. Based in the hills of central Pennsylvania, these women play an amazing array of instruments. Linda Littleton and Karen Hirshon switch with ease among fiddle, mandolin, banjo, guitar, guitjo, recorders, bowed psaltery, hammered dulcimer, baritone fiddle, guitar, and percussion.
Please call or email to register.
