Words and Film Sunday Matinee @ EMPL continues with: “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” on Sunday, December 7th, at 2pm at the Eastern Monroe Public Library.

When the notorious Herdman siblings, the worst kids in town, crash the annual Christmas pageant auditions looking for snacks, they unexpectedly land the lead roles. First-time director Grace, along with her family, must manage both the unruly children and angry townspeople, leading to chaos that ultimately reveals the real spirit of Christmas.

Based on the book of the same title by Barbara Robinson, this film is directed by Dallas Jenkins and stars Judy Greer, Peter Holmes, Molly Belle Wright, Beatrice Schneider, Lauren Graham and Kynlee Heiman.
