Shane McAnally has written, and/or produced over 50 number one songs, garnered four Grammy Award wins (with 11 total nominations), been nominated for more CMA Awards than any other songwriter in history, and been named ACM’s Songwriter of the Year twice. He has written and produced songs for everyone from Sam Hunt to Kenny Chesney to Blake Shelton to Kacey Musgraves and received Billboard’s Trailblazer Award for his work both in country music and in championing voices in the LGBTQ community.

In 2012, McAnally founded SMACKSongs, which includes publishing, digital and management branches, and whose writers are credited with nearly 80 top 10 songs at country radio. SMACK also manages singer/songwriter Walker Hayes, who shot to superstardom with his smash hit “Fancy Like,” produced by McAnally.

On screen, he starred in NBC’s hit television show Songland alongside Ryan Tedder and Ester Dean. In 2023, McAnally brought the Tony Award-winning musical Shucked to Broadway – a production he wrote the music and lyrics for with his collaborator Brandy Clark. Shucked was nominated for 9 Tony Awards and a Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album during the 2023 season.

Singer songwriter and visual artist Joseph Arthur is renowned for his live painting performances and innovative use of looping technology — layering guitar and vocal loops live on stage, a technique he helped pioneer in the 1990s that has since become widely adopted.

Discovered by Lou Reed and Peter Gabriel, Arthur released his debut album in 1996 and has since built an extensive catalog of fifteen albums and numerous EPs. Throughout his career, he has also launched and collaborated on several notable projects and bands, including The Lonely Astronauts; Fistful of Mercy with Ben Harper and Dhani Harrison; RNDM with Jeff Ament of Pearl Jam; Arthur Buck with Peter Buck of R.E.M.; and most recently, Silverlites alongside Rich Robinson of The Black Crowes, Peter Buck, and Barrett Martin of Screaming Trees.

Joseph Arthur has enjoyed widespread acclaim on Triple A radio with songs such as “Honey and the Moon,” featured in The O.C. and American Pie, and “In the Sun,” notably covered by Michael Stipe of R.E.M., Chris Martin of Coldplay, and Peter Gabriel, and featured in the film Saved!.

A Joseph Arthur performance defies easy categorization. Armed with guitar, pedals, drum pads, keyboards, and microphones, he constructs immersive live soundscapes in real time — transforming intimate songs into richly layered, improvised orchestrations unlike those of any other artist.

His influences span generations and genres, drawing from songwriters and innovators such as Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Lou Reed, Nick Drake, Nirvana, The Clash, and early hip hop. Initially formed in 2012, The Cold Stares began their career as a duo, but expanded their sonic firepower with the addition of bassist Bryce Klueh in 2022. Fuzzed-out guitars, classic rock guitar riffs, and fleet-fingered Cream-style improvisations abound, as do nods to Delta blues and an emphasis on songwriting and lyricism.
