Lehigh Valley Health Network has issued new guidance on expanded access to COVID-19 boosters and third shots after several new Emergency Use Authorizations were issued by the FDA and supported by the CDC. WDIY's Sarit Laschinsky has more.

Children age 12-15 who received their Pfizer vaccine at least five months ago are now eligible for a booster shot.

A third shot of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is available for immunocompromised children age 5-11.

All adults who completed their two-dose series of the Pfizer vaccine can now get their booster five months after their second shot, instead of six months.

Appointments are required, and can be made through the MyLVHN patient portal, or by calling LVHN's COVID-19 vaccine hotline at 833-584-6283 from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
