Palancar is Texan Darrell Burgan who has recorded under his own name as well as under the name Palancar. Darrell has collaborated with Cluster Balm, Copal River, Labrathisattva, Flute of the Fallen Tiger, and Lucette Bourdin. He has performed in public as Palancar as well as part of the mindSpiral and Different Skies projects. He is the founder of the Creative Commons based ambient net label Earth Mantra and of Spirit Canyon Audio, a vendor of exotic music soundware. Darrell founded the net radio station StillStream which still operates today 24/7.
