Join Wildlands Conservancy’s Stream Team Volunteers! We help maintain riparian buffer zones (areas planted with native trees, grasses, and shrubs) along creeks and streams in the Lehigh and Northampton Counties. This involves weeding to remove invasive plant species and inspecting and replacing tree tubes used to protect young trees.

Wildlands Conservancy's Stream Team is a great volunteer opportunity for individuals, college students, and community groups. Join us!!

Volunteers are encouraged to register for multiple dates and locations.

The Celtic Classic is a free annual festival presented by the Celtic Cultural Alliance, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Celtic heritage. The Celtic Classic takes place outdoors on the streets of Historic Downtown Bethlehem.

Five stages of continuous entertainment featuring international, national, and regional artists.

- The “Showing of the Tartan” Parade (parade route) Kicks off at 11:30am on Saturday

Forming in late 2023, the Northeastern Pennsylvania quartet Scorched Mind set out to form a chaotic blend of sludgy, unrelenting beatdown grooves, blasting death metal carnage, and metallic HM2 driven hardcore. Scorched Mind’s sound is somewhat unique, but draws heavy inspiration from bands like Nails, Full Of Hell, & Harm's Way. The end result is barrage of sonic punishment & crushing violence.

Pianist and composer Jason Moran has established himself as a risk-taker and trendsetter for new directions in jazz. Rolling Stone calls him “the most provocative thinker in current jazz.” It’s that incomparable talent and unyielding drive towards innovation that earned Moran a prestigious MacArthur “Genius Grant” Fellowship and the title of Kennedy Center Artistic Director for Jazz. Since 2000, Moran and his trio, The Bandwagon (Tarus Mateen and Nasheet Waits), have dazzled audiences at elite venues worldwide. Moran has also performed with many acclaimed artists such as Charles Lloyd and Dave Holland, he composed a ballet for Alzonzo King LINES Ballet, conceived a jazz and skateboarding collaboration, wrote the film score for Selma, and paid homage to two legendary pianists in his Blue Note album, All Rise: A Joyful Elegy for Fats Waller, and his multimedia program, In My Mind: Monk at Town Hall 1959.

STAYIN' ALIVE offers to their audiences the songs and sights of a full Bee Gees play list, singing blockbusters such as "Night Fever", "Jive Talkin'", "How Deep Is Your Love", "You Should Be Dancing", "Nights on Broadway", and "Stayin' Alive". In addition, they perform softer poetic ballads such as "I Started a Joke", "Massachusetts", "Fanny Be Tender", "Words", and "To Love Somebody" among other great hits.

STAYIN' ALIVE has played intimate settings as a six piece band and huge venues with a 62 piece orchestra. STAYIN' ALIVE is the quintessential tribute band to the Bee Gees, capturing the excitement of live performance and the tender subtleties of the human voice!

September 15 - October 15 - Join us for a month-long celebration of new vegan dishes all over the Lehigh Valley!

Businesses across the area will showcase exciting special vegan menu items, giving everyone the opportunity to explore creative plant-based dishes crafted by talented local chefs.

Drop-in to the Art Ways Interactive Family Gallery on the second floor of the Museum every Saturday and Sunday to make your own art to take home during ArtVentures. Museum educators are on hand to help guide you in creating an artwork inspired by the Museum’s collection. Design your own creation and bring it to life on one of our 3D printers. All ages and abilities welcome! Free.

This high energy evening brings together exciting vocalists from the Broadway stage performing selections from both Rock and contemporary Broadway hits. Featured in this show are selections from such popular musicals as Wicked, The Lion King, and Phantom of the Opera and some of Rock’s greatest hits currently on Broadway such as Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Bohemian Rhapsody, and Man in the Mirror.

The Louis E. Dieruff Select Choir, under the direction of Jennifer Dodd will also be joining in as well as some members of the Allentown Symphony Chorus, under the direction of Eduardo Azzati.
