On December 4, 1956, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins descend on Sun Studio in Memphis. What follows is one of the greatest impromptu jam sessions in music history. Guided by visionary producer Sam Phillips—the “Father of Rock ‘n’ Roll”—the night crackles with soaring music while careers hang in the balance. Featuring over 20 chart-topping hits including “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Great Balls of Fire,” and “I Walk the Line,” this is a toe-tapping celebration of friendship, rivalry, and a night that ignites a revolution. A family-friendly musical celebration suitable for all ages.
Acclaimed singer-songwriter and guitarist Matthew Curry returns with his new album ONE FOR THE RIDE, a dynamic and heartfelt collection that showcases the full range of his musicianship — from fiery, virtuosic guitar work to intimate, emotionally rich songwriting. The album explores life on the road, love, celebration, personal reflection, and Americana storytelling, all delivered with Curry’s signature depth and gritty authenticity.
Matthew Curry has built a multi-generational audience through a deep, pure connection forged with fans that have encountered him via headline appearances and cherished support opportunities from some of the most successful touring and recording artists in the history of music. Simply, he is a singer-songwriter, who’s also known for his incredible guitar playing abilities, writing songs that draw from personal inspirations, incorporating elements of blues, rock, southern rock, and old school country in to his repertoire. Alongside a ton of headline dates across the U.S., and isolated appearances overseas, Matthew Curry has had the honor of touring with the Doobie Brothers, Steve Miller Band, Peter Frampton, Journey, Don Felder (of the Eagles), and others.
Born and raised in Bloomington Illinoi, Curry began playing guitar at the age of four with encouragement from his father. He began playing live performances at the age of eight and by eleven, the young guitarist was fronting his own band and beginning his songwriting career. His first album If I Don’t Got You was released in 2012 followed by Electric Religion (2014), Shine On (2016), and Open Road (2019). In 2015, Curry made his debut on the big screen with his role as the late Ronnie Van Zant of Lynyrd Skynyrd in Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser, acting alongside comedy legend, David Spade.
Throughout his adult life, Curry has toured and released music consistently amazing audiences all over the world with his fiery guitar playing and soulful vocals.
