With soulful songs, razor-sharp storytelling, and an onstage band doubling as her modern-day Greek chorus, Penelope transforms the tale you thought you knew into a solo cabaret act like no other. It’s raw, fiery, and fiercely original as she steps out of the shadows to set the record straight, and she’s not holding back.

In the southeastern frontier of Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountain Range lies the small town of Wind Gap. The mountains are famous for outdoor activities and other wonderful pursuits for those seeking the space and solitude that is unique to a playground such as nature has provided here! The town of Wind Gap is relatively quiet but each June, just up a winding tree-lined road from the town proper, magic fills the air! It’s the magic of the annual Wind Gap Bluegrass Festival. During this time, Wind Gap means music, the fellowship of campfire stories, and that favorite back-country recipe, skillfully prepared by one or more “Deep Woods Chefs”!

A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen Jr. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen Jr. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!

Twenty-six artists partner with the Nurture Nature Center to explore the importance of the natural environment around us through a multi-media exhibit.

Drop-in to the Art Ways Interactive Family Gallery on the second floor of the Museum every Saturday and Sunday to make your own art to take home during ArtVentures. Museum educators are on hand to help guide you in creating an artwork inspired by the Museum’s collection. Design your own creation and bring it to life on one of our 3D printers. All ages and abilities welcome! Free.

This year's WDIY anniversary party will be a special event to mark 30 years of broadcasting! WDIY will be returning to South Mountain Grove in Allentown on June 7th from 1 to 6 PM for an outdoor event under a covered pavilion that will feature complimentary food, drinks, fun activities for the whole family, and live music from the WDIY All-Stars, including:

WDIY is fortunate to have many talented artists and musicians who host the station's programs, so this year, we are giving them a chance to shine on the stage! We will have rotating sets all afternoon to keep you entertained with music from a variety of genres.

Da Vinci Science Center will be here with fun projects for the whole family:

• Bubble Wands - Engineer bubble wands of different shapes, sizes, and materials. How do you think this will change how your bubble looks or behaves?
• Plant Terrariums - Participants learn what helps a seed grow into plant by making their own terrariums to take home!

Be sure to also check out our tricky tray raffles and 50/50 game. All proceeds will support the station.

Back by popular demand is the 30-foot pirate ship for kids to explore courtesy of Main Deck Productions! Look for other fun pirate-themed events like face painting and Pirate Training Show.

Finally, Dan's Camera City will be on-hand with a photo booth for the whole afternoon for you to capture memories of the day.

Born in Bucks County, Sentiment of Sun is a four-piece grunge band of young guns playing beyond their years. With a full set of hard-nosed originals that ride a wave between acoustic and electric, the fiery young band often weaves in classic covers from Tool, Alice in Chains, Jimmie's Chicken Shack, Soundgarden, and more.
