HOOP DREAMS & FROG SCHEMES!

Forget the fairy tale you know! This fresh spin on the classic tale follows a basketball-loving princess who’d rather shoot hoops than wait around for Prince Charming. Caught between slam dunks, slam jams (yep, there’s music!), and six royal sisters’ matchmaking missions, our heroine’s world turns upside down when her game ball takes an unexpected plunge into a mysterious well.

Enter an unexpected hero: a talking frog who’s a prince under a magical spell. As friendship sparks between the princess and her amphibian ally, the dynamic duo dishes out assists, keeps it real with family, and learns that being true to yourself is the greatest win of all. With music, magic, and major attitude, the princess and the frog prince prove that sometimes your perfect match is the teammate you least expect—and that happily ever after looks different for everyone.

Bob Mould’s 15th solo album, Here We Go Crazy, distills his decades-long mastery of melody, emotional depth, and raw energy. Stripping back to essentials, its 11 songs blaze through 30 minutes with primal urgency, inspired by his extensive touring—both solo and with Jon Wurster and Jason Narducy. The album embraces a direct, unembellished approach, reflecting the visceral connection Mould felt performing stripped-down sets.

From his Hüsker Dü roots through an evolving solo career, Mould has built his music on honesty, angst, and intensity. Here We Go Crazy arrives at a moment of global uncertainty, unfolding in three acts: control versus chaos, personal struggle, and love as salvation. Opening tracks explore turbulence—Neanderthal recalls childhood trauma, while Breathing Room captures isolation. The second act descends into darkness—Fur Mink Augurs embodies claustrophobic dread, Lost Or Stolen critiques digital obsession, and Sharp Little Pieces confronts shattered innocence. The final act turns to hope—You Need to Shine seeks light amid turmoil, Thread So Thin wrestles with protection and vulnerability, and Your Side offers urgent devotion in uncertain times.

Mould’s stripped-back production lets these themes breathe, delivering catharsis through melodic power and lyrical confrontation. As always, his music compresses life’s weight into something resonant—11 sonic gems that offer both intensity and relief.
