Marcie Lightwood welcomes Congresswoman Susan Wild (PA-7) to share her reaction to the impending U.S. Supreme Court decision which would overturn Roe v. Wade, upending women's right to privacy and access to legal abortion nationwide. Rep. Wild also discusses the effects of this decision that a majority of Americans disagree with.

Marcie Lightwood came to WDIY to set up WDIY's first on-air membership drive, and she has stayed with the station ever since. Marcie is a self-employed social worker, specializing in parenting education, working with people in poverty and group facilitation. Currently, Marcie serves as local host for NPR's All Things Considered on Friday afternoons along with producing special WDIY news features. She is the mother of four grown children and lives in Allentown.
