Bethlehem-based test maker OraSure Technologies says its COVID-19 rapid test can detect the highly-transmissible Omicron variant. WDIY's Sarit Laschinsky has more.
OraSure said in a news release that studies conducted at an independent, third-party laboratory with live samples of the SARS-CoV2 virus showed that InteliSwab was capable of detecting the Omicron COVID variant at the same limit of detection as previous tested variants.
