"Establishing a Food Culture" with Jason Grauer | Roots and Resilience

On this episode, Maddie Yang welcomes Jason Grauer, Executive Director at Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture in Tarrytown, NY. The non-profit farm and agricultural education and research center seeks to catalyze an ecological food culture in the Hudson Valley.

Jason talks about the carrot that launched his fascination with seeds and genetics. He also talks about what the 80-acre location looks like, the work the organization does to change people's mindset about farming, and the collaboration between the farm and the restaurant on the property.
