Shamus McGroggan
Membership and Development DirectorShamus is a Pennsylvania native who was raised in the Lehigh Valley. He first became involved with radio in 2002 while attending York College of Pennsylvania where he worked at the school's student-run radio station, WVYC, for college credit.
Since earning a B.A. in mass communication, Shamus has gone on to host shows for WXPN in Philadelphia (Y-Rock on XPN) and WMUH in Allentown. He began his WDIY tenure as an on-air volunteer in 2007 and became part of the station's staff in 2014.
As WDIY's Membership and Development Director, his duties include overseeing the station's membership activities, grant writing, public relations, and online activities. In his spare time, Shamus currently produces and hosts Tape Swap Radio.

The Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters recently announced that WDIY has won five 2022 Excellence in Broadcasting awards. The station's wins are the highest total for a single radio station across the Commonwealth, only matched by KYW in Philadelphia.
