Alison DelRe
Director of Community and Corporate RelationsAlison DelRe is the Director of Community and Corporate Relations at WDIY. She has played an integral part to the station’s operation and growth since its early years in 1998. Alison has been responsible for the coordination and supervision of over 100 volunteer staff, managed scores of large promotional events and activities, served as office manager, and continues in the all-important development in both the areas of fundraising and membership.
In addition to her many duties at WDIY, Alison has also served on the boards of both the Lehigh Valley Blues Network and the Lehigh Valley extension of Penn State University.
As a life-long artisan, Alison began her love of creating unique art as a child through crocheting, thread-work, paper crafting, sewing, and more. She feels that her most engaging work is a result of ‘found’ and re-purposed items such as mosaics, china fragments, and jewelry made of sea glass foraged from our local beaches.
Alison is also a mother of two adult children, Danielle and Jason, and grandmother to a beautiful granddaughter, Avery. In addition to her many interests, she thoroughly enjoys attending music festivals, combing the beach sands of New Jersey, and spending time with her precious family and friends.
