Allentown has announced the launch of a new small business support program, recognizing the need for more localized and individualized tools to help city small businesses recovering from the impact of COVID-19. WDIY's Sarit Laschinsky has this report.

Allentown businesses with less than 50 full-time employees may apply for technical assistance grants beginning Dec. 13, 2021, and are required to complete a one-page intake form. Forms are available in English and Spanish online at https://go.lehigh.edu/allentownSPARK.

Local consultants that can provide services as part of the Allentown Small Business Spark Program are also asked to submit a proposal online to Lehigh University's Small Business Development Center at https://go.lehigh.edu/allentownSPARK.
