Alan then talks with two representatives from Touchstone Theatre, Artistic Director J.P. Jordan and Ensemble Affiliate Michael Duck, about the Lehigh Valley Song Project. This project, part of the ongoing Festival UnBound initiative, is bringing together 15 musicians from across the Lehigh Valley to record a collaborative music video which touches on the Valley's spirit of hope and resistance. The music video will premiere on July 23, 2020 at Touchstone Theatre in Bethlehem along with live performances from prominent Lehigh Valley musicians.
Alan finishes out the program by debuting a new segment, "The Good News," with guest Laurie Heckett, Director of Community Relations and Philanthropy at Air Products and Chemicals. Laurie discusses non-profits and philanthropy in the Lehigh Valley during this tumultous time.
