Wildlands Conservancy - Bird Walk and Avian Research at Tott's Gap
Join us at Totts Gap Conservation Area to learn about the amazing work being done to enhance bird habitat. Totts Gap has some of the best remaining Grassland Habitat in Northampton County, and hosts declining breeding species like American Kestrel, Bobolink and Eastern Meadowlark that breed in very few other places locally.
The program includes a bird walk through multiple habitat types and view of an Osprey nest, a discussion of the property’s grassland restoration work, and a bird banding demonstration.
This program is appropriate for ages 8 and above. If sunny weather is predicted, come prepared with sunscreen, water, and consider a hat. Please, no dogs permitted. Portable restroom available.
This program is provided free of charge thanks to funding from Northampton County Parks. Space is limited and registration is required. Please register online.
