Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and conservation-minded adventurers alike, this program invites you to enjoy the Lehigh River’s beauty while playing a role in safeguarding it for future generations.

The Experience:
o Paddle the Lehigh River: Canoe from Sand Island Park and navigate the tranquil waters of the Lehigh River, leading to the exclusive Wildlands Conservancy Island Preserve, Freeman’s Island.
o Explore Freemans Island: Join us for a tour of Wildlands Conservancy's Freeman’s Island Preserve. Learn about its biodiversity and ecological significance, and hear about the organization’s ongoing efforts to protect and manage all of our nature preserves.
o Bike Along Scenic Trails: Transition to bike and ride a 7-miles on the historic D&L Trail, enjoying picturesque views of the Lehigh River. Along the way, learn about the interconnected ecosystems and the trail’s role in regional conservation.
