Dina Hall (dinahall.com) has produced this series at various locations in the Lehigh Valley, thoughtfully pairing artists from outside this area together with our own regional professionals. Each concert spotlights three professional performing songwriters–on stage together–with individual performance, stories, and banter. This is a quarterly series, exclusive to the Nazareth Center for the Arts.

Sug Daniels:

Delaware born, Philadelphia based, ukulele player, singer-songwriter, story teller, and producer who is using the tools around her to capture the emotions of an era. Daniels’ work is as colorful, vulnerable, and charismatic as her personality. She thoughtfully combines elements of folk, rock, and soul alternatives to create personal and tender music interlaced with messages of truth and positive change.

Antar Goodwin:

Philadelphia-based roots and blues artist blends the grit of classic blues with the soul of Americana in his music. Before gaining recognition with his band, Antar Goodwin & The Faithful Sinners, he spent 15 years as a bassist in New York City’s vibrant music scene. During this time, he served as a musical director and co-writer for several national touring artists, including Sting, Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, Bruce Katz, Sean Chambers, Ruth Brown, Benny Golson, and co-wrote the album “On My Way,” which reached the Billboard top 10 twice. His raw honesty and emotional depth create a powerful invitation for listeners. With a deep well of storytelling and masterful guitar work, Antar takes audiences on a journey of truth and transformation through his timeless sound.

Dina Hall:

songwriter, storyteller, musician, and recording artist rooted in Bethlehem, Pa. She blends folk, rock, blues, and alt-country into a dynamic amalgam of Americana music, featuring her resonant, familiar voice on each song. Hall has solidly established a decades-long career as a performing songwriter, honing her craft in intimate listening rooms and bringing that spark to large theater stages and music festivals in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware – sometimes with a full band behind her. Band members: Andy Killcoyne, Rameen Shayegan, Nick Franclik, Todd Schied.

She has appeared as support for many notable artists, including: KT Tunstall, Joan Osborne, Marcia Ball, Willy Porter, Jeffrey Gaines, Seth Glier, Danielia Cotton, Cheryl Wheeler, Karla Bonoff, Jimmy Webb, John Gorka, Catie Curtis, Richard Shindell, Susan Werner, The Wailin’ Jennys, and Chris Trapper.
