2025 Apple Days
It’s autumn on historic Burnside Plantation! Celebrate the bounty of the season at Apple Days festival and Market -to-Go.
- Step back in time in our “Historic Area” featuring living history demonstrations and hands-on activities.
- Tour the 1748/1818 farmhouse and learn about daily life for a busy family hundreds of years ago.
- See “what’s cooking” in the summer kitchen then quench your thirst with a visit to the Tavern.
- Enjoy hands-on kids’ activities, a children’s hay bale maze, shopping with local vendors, sweet treats from some of the Lehigh Valley’s finest bakeries, live music, pony rides, visiting farm animals and SO MUCH MORE.

NEW This Year!
Apple Days kicks off with Family Hour from 10 AM – 11 AM with special programming for families with young kids!
- Get a dose of Narrative Medicine with the Story Doctor who brings stories to life with YOUR help.
- Travel back in time with Quotes & Quills, then create a souvenir from the 18th century to take home.
- Discover the wonders of early American life on the farm during special family-friendly time in the historic home.
- Discover how kids spent their (very limited!) free time with simple toys that required no batteries or electricity and so much more!
Apple Days Desserts & Market to Go
Choose from a delicious selection of apple inspired desserts available for pickup to take home and enjoy!
This year we are happy to welcome Vallo’s Bakery as our new Apple Pie Supplier! Vallo’s is a third generation local, family owned favorite for delicious, freshly baked treats of all kinds.
In addition, we are happy to welcome back Bakery Nook and Backdoor Bakeshop for the Strudel, Coffee Cakes and Donut Holes.
If you are unable to attend the festival, you can attend our Market to Go on Friday, September 19 to take home a piece of the festival with you!

Apple Days Volunteer
Do you like food, fun, and festivities? We’re looking for volunteers to set up and help in many capacities throughout the weekend, including assisting with children’s activities, serving pie, helping with apple contests, and assisting in the tavern tent.
Volunteers receive a t-shirt and dessert coupon.

- Hidden in the depths of Bethlehem’s Colonial Industrial Quarter lies a dark and enigmatic secret. Whispers of unsolved murders linger in the air, while eerie premonitions haunt the minds of those who dare to enter.
- Art of Artifacts – 12:30 PM – 1:15 PM September 20 & 21
- During the 18th and 19th centuries, pockets were separate articles of clothing, tied around the waist. Often decorated with silk embroidery, these pockets provided space for women to carry their most important possessions. Make and decorate your own felt pocket to take home.
