Denise McCormack: Bloody Vampire

This evening I am featuring Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild member Denise McCormack. Denise is one who wears many hats. Besides being a storyteller, she is a motivational speaker, runs workshops on generational issues; corporate communications, education and health, does private coaching?, as well as writing and editing.

For us, she will be telling some tales that move us along toward Halloween.

For us, she will tell a tale that moves us along toward Halloween.

Here is Denise McCormack.

That was Denise McCormack.

The Lehigh Valley Storytelling Slam is back for another season. There is one going on as I speak to you. Their October slam will be on the 19th and its theme is “Scared.” I think that is fitting for October. It is held at the Red Stag Pub, 534 Main St, Bethlehem. Check out the Lehigh Valley Story Slam website for details and to order tickets.

Also in October are the two Lehigh Valley Storytelling Guild’s Scary Stories nights. The first will be at Godfrey Daniels, Wednesday, October 26, at 7:00pm. Godfreys is at 7 East Fourth St, Bethlehem, down the hill from Lehigh University.

The second Scary Stories is around a bonfire. That is one is on Saturday, October 29th, at the Jordan UCC Church’s Peace Park, around their fire circle, starting at 7:00pm. Bring a blanket and a flashlight. The church is located at 1837 Church Road, Allentown. Very near the Parkland Library, where Walbert Ave meeting route 309.

Well, that’s all for now. Have fun and keep a story in your heart.
