The Philadelphia Democratic Party has officially endorsed Congressman Conor Lamb in the Democratic US Senate primary. Party leaders say they chose Lamb over Philly State Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta, and Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman, because they think Lamb can win.
But WHYY’s Katie Meyer reports, the decision was also personal.
