PA Education Advocates’ Case Over Public School Funding Going to Trial

It is a trial seven years in the making, with decades of history behind it. On Friday, a group of education advocates in Pennsylvania got their long-awaited day in court; they’re suing the state over how it funds public schools. WHYY Keystone Crossroads’ reporter Avi Wolfman-Arent tells us the case’s complicated past, and its potentially transformative future.

Avi Wolfman-Arent is an education reporter for Keystone Crossroads and on-air host at WHYY. He joined the station in December 2014. Avi graduated from Haverford College and grew up in the D.C. area.
