As we reach the one-year anniversary of COVID-19 in our region, WHYY is looking at what we’ve found -and what we’ve lost – over the past year.

So many parents have lost their access to childcare, and that has made life especially difficult for single parents. WHYY’s Avi Wolfman-Arent tells the story though the eyes of one mom who has spent the last year fighting to keep her family together, and her kids in school.
