Kate Scuffle hosts Bill Mayberry, whose new memoir, Fast Women & Slow Horses, is a crazily colorful chronicle from a retired restaurateur and raconteur who turned a Bethlehem railroad station into a popular prime-rib house, and who mixed drinks and people at one of the first hot singles bars in swinging '60s Manhattan.
Also joining the conversation is editor and co-writer Geoff Gehman, former arts writer for The Morning Call, who just happened to be born at the same Manhattan hospital as Mayberry!
Tune in to Lehigh Valley Arts Salon every Monday from 6:00 to 6:30 PM following All Things Considered.
