In celebration of Black History Month, Words & Film Sunday Matinee continues with a presentation of "Floyd Norman: An Animated Life".
In 1956, Floyd Norman became the first African-American animator at Disney. Over the course of his storied career as an animator, writer, artist, and cartoonist, Norman worked for several animation companies, including Walt Disney Animation Studios, Hanna-Barbera Productions, Ruby-Spears, Film Roman and Pixar.
