Words and Film Sunday Matinee @ EMPL continues with: “A Complete Unknown” on Sunday, June 29th, at 2pm at the Eastern Monroe Public Library.

Set in the influential New York City music scene of the early 1960s, "A Complete Unknown" follows 19-year-old Minnesota musician Bob Dylan and his meteoric rise as a folk singer. From concert halls to the top of the charts, his songs and his mystique become a worldwide sensation that culminates in his groundbreaking electric rock-and-roll performance at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965.

Inspired by the book, “Dylan Goes Electric!” by Elijah Wald, this film is directed by James Mangold and stars Timothée Chalamet, Edward Norton, Elle Fanning and Monica Barbaro.
