The Lehigh Valley Light The Night will be held on Saturday, October 26th at Grange Park in Allentown.
Light The Night is a fundraising walk to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Each year friends, families and coworkers form teams to raise money in support of LLS' mission. Participants carry battery operated lanterns in one of three colors: red for supporters, gold in memory of those lost to cancer, or white for those who have survived cancer or are battling cancer. The money raised from this event directly benefits blood cancer patients in the Lehigh Valley and Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Festivities begin at 4:30 PM with the opening ceremony beginning at dusk. The walk immediately follows the opening ceremony. There is no cost to participate but fundraising is encouraged.
