Community Music School Lehigh Valley & Berks presents the next installment of the Faculty Showcase Luncheon Series, featuring guitar teacher, Joe Wagner, on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, from 12-1 PM.

BYO lunch & enjoy a monthly selection of curated faculty performances in the art deco ambiance of the Dorothy H. Baker Recital Hall at CMS. This month’s featured faculty member is Joe Wagner, guitar. Joe’s instrumental solo guitar performances combine styles from his jazz, fusion and original musical projects to pay tribute to the composers and guitarists who have shaped his musical style. Listeners will hear traditional jazz standards in the multi-layered guitar style of Joe Pass and the percussive flamenco fingerstyle technique reminiscent of Paco De Lucia. Original compositions, and improvisations in the free musical spirit of Django Reinhardt, may be interwoven with cameos of popular guitar songs. Reservations requested, but walk-ins are welcome.
