White House Drug Czar Eyes Philly’s Response to Emerging Xylazine Threat

A White House official recently met with addiction medicine experts in Philadelphia this week to look for ways to address the threat of xylazine, an animal sedative that is appearing in a record number of drug overdose deaths – locally and nationally. WHYY’s Nicole Leonard reports.
