District Attorney Larry Krasner speaks on efforts in Philadelphia and elsewhere to ensure cities and counties ravaged by the opioid epidemic can continue to pursue litigation against pharmaceutical companies.

The district attorneys overseeing Philadelphia and Pittsburgh are at odds with Attorney General Josh Shapiro over an opioid settlement he brokered with big pharma. WHYY’s Aaron Moselle reports both DAs say the proposed settlement will not go far enough to provide relief.
