Alan Jennings talks with community activist Hasshan Batts who works with the non-profit Promise Neighborhoods of the Lehigh Valley to curb violence in Allentown.
Batts' life journey took him from gang member to convict to turning his life around.
Batts went on to earn his doctorate and was named director of operations of Promise Neighborhoods of the Lehigh Valley in 2017 where he now tackles complex issues of community violence and injustice.
