Saving for College with Sam Matlock and Lilianne Moore | Teen Money Matters

Eliza Moore first welcomes Sam Matlock, a senior at Freedom High School who's planning to study Finance at the University of Pittsburgh in the fall. Sam talks about his work at a part-time job and how it's helped him save for college, as well as his work to apply for scholarships and his plans for budgeting in college.

Then, Eliza talks with Lilianne Moore, a sophomore at Freedom High School, who's getting ready to start thinking about college costs. They talk about Lilianne's part-time job and her experience saving so far, as well as the thinks she thinks she'll have to start planning for as she enters the college search process.

Teen Money Matters welcomes local teens and financial experts to talk about and explore ways to save, budget and understand the importance of managing money for the future. New episodes air alternating first Thursdays of the month from 6:30 to 7:00 PM following All Things Considered.
