As part of the Rise Above Opioids initiative, Lehigh County Drug and Alcohol will host
“Voices of Recovery: Stories of Strength,” a community event featuring video testimonials from individuals who have experienced varied spectrums of addiction and found a path to recovery. The program will include the premiere screening of Rise Above Opioids recovery story videos, recognition of the individuals featured, brief personal remarks from select participants and a celebration of the newly renovated lower level of Change on Hamilton. The event will also highlight Journeys and Child Watch programs, which allows parents in recovery to attend meetings and services while their children receive short term onsite care.
