Comedy After The Storm – Hurricane Helene Benefit Night for North Carolina Arts Community
Comedy After The Storm – Hurricane Helene Benefit Night for North Carolina Arts Community
Please join us THIS SATURDAY for a special Hurricane Helene Benefit Stand-Up Comedy Night in support of the North Carolina Arts Community!
On Saturday, we’re hosting a special Comedy Relief Benefit Night at Godfrey Daniels, with all proceeds going to LEAF Global Arts. Please come by and laugh with our visiting comedians, who are putting together this special night: Tyler Rothrock, Jake Domanski, Stef K, Ice Jackson, and Kate Hughes.
As we continue to feel the aftershocks of Hurricane Helene, the impact on the artistic communities of Appalachia, particularly in Asheville, North Carolina, is becoming painfully clear. These are the people who have always brought us joy through their art and music, often giving everything they have, and now, they are the ones in need. With venues destroyed and gigs canceled, many artists are left without the income needed to support their families, pets, and homes.
We invite you to join us in supporting Leaf Global Arts, an incredible organization dedicated to helping the artists hardest hit by the storm. Based in Asheville, NC, Leaf Global Arts has been a pillar of the local arts community, and we personally know that every dollar they receive will go directly into the hands of those who need it most.
Additional donations are welcome and will also be forwarded to the fund. If you can’t attend the event, please consider donating directly to the Leaf Global Arts Artists Relief Fund through their website: https://theleaf.org/give-to-leaf/
