72-Hour Film Challenge 2023
72-Hour Film Challenge 2023
Faculty Advisor: Brian McDermott
Putting limits on creativity can result in spectacular work as artists find ways to succeed despite restrictions. Students in the DeSales TV/Film major are given just one weekend to make a short film. Writing, shooting, and editing must be completed within a 72-hour window starting Thursday, November 9, and ending Sunday, November 12. The compressed time period demands smart planning, skillful screenwriting, focused shooting, and quick editing decisions. This unique approach can lead to outstanding films and truly unique stories. Completed films will be streamed for viewing.
