The School District of Philadelphia partnered with the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia to hold a COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Philadelphia Zoo.

Philadelphia has placed its first order for Pfizer’s COVID-19 pediatric vaccine for 5-to-11-year-olds – more than 20,000 doses. WHYY’s Zoe Read reports the city Health Department has directed providers to administer the doses as soon as they receive them.
