(Lehigh Valley, PA) WDIY’s weekly public affairs program Lehigh Valley Discourse will feature the candidates for Northampton County Executive on Thursday’s program, 6-7pm.
But the station has opted to dispense of the rigid structure common to candidate debates in favor of a no rules, conversational approach. Hosted by Alan Jennings, John Callahan, Lamont McClure and Glenn Reibman will have a wide-ranging discussion of the issues, covering the economy, fiscal austerity, open space preservation, their approach to governing, and how the county might encourage modernizing how municipalities within the county relate to each other and the county.
This is the first of three political discussions to air on WDIY as part of Lehigh Valley Discourse. In the coming weeks, candidates for Lehigh County Executive and Bethlehem Mayor will also be featured.
