Scott Allen

Scott decided to volunteer for the news team because news hosting coordinator Marcie Lightwood kept asking him to do so.  He had never done anything like that before but decided to try something new as a way to give back to the community, plus he'd been a big fan of NPR news his entire life!   Scott is an Episcopal priest and serves the congregation of St. Andrew's on Pennsylvania Ave on the border of Allentown and Bethlehem.  He's an avid gardener and has two kids, ages 24 and 18.  He makes his home in South Bethlehem, not too far from the WDIY studios.
