Program Host

George Libricz, Jr., “Little George,” has been a member of the volunteer host ranks since 2006 after his father told him about the volunteer opportunities at WDIY. George hosted The Blend on Thursday afternoons from 2006 to 2011. During his tenure, he interviewed performers such as The Doughboys, Tony Bird, Eilen Jewell, Phil Alvin, Trombone Shorty, and Bev Conklin to name a few. You will hear George some Friday evenings in the Unlimited Possibilities rotation, as well as pinch-hit hosting on other folk/Americana and rock/pop shows.
